Verify without a shadow of a doubt12/16/2023 ![]() My experience has been you can have the trap around walls and it will teleport you correctly so long as you could walk there without jumping. If someone could verify my own findings, this does not require line of sight, but pathing to the trap point must be free of unclimbable terrain. I would add this fact to the main page if I knew how. I tested in queensdale going from the hill at Crossing Waypoint towards the west where it is just open fields. there cannot be ANY obstructions such as trees, walls, hills etc. you need direct line of sight to the trap. Ok, after more testing, I noticed that it failed at about 1500 range due to a branch! I fired off the full 9900 range, but there is a catch. ![]() If anyone else can test this, I would appreciate it as I may have missed something. On another point, I haven't checked the range on Shadow Pursuit. I tested this in the heart of the mists starting at the west-most heading east to try to eliminate elevation as a variable. At 4500 range (5 uses) it finally worked and sent my thief back to the trap. What I then proceeded to do was reduce the Infiltrator's arrow jumps. ![]() How I checked this is I used Infiltrator's Arrow only to move 9900 range (900r x 11 uses) in a straight line and when I triggered this skill, the skill fizzled without me moving. Ok, I was testing this out today and I highly doubt it's 10,000 range. Probably to prevent issues where the thief could step to two different targets.- Oxyggjq 01:52, 8 February 2013 (UTC) It's interesting to see that this is the only thief trap (ranger as well?) that can be destroyed.
